About Us:
Why Alpacas?
We fell in love with these cute and cuddly animals after seeing them at
a local Show. We had been looking for some livestock to graze on our
land that could be productive and not damage the ground. After
investigating further we discovered alpacas were the ideal animals
for our property. We purchased our first female with cria at foot
over 20 years ago now and have never looked back since!
Breeding Goals
Our objective here at Otway Orchard is to breed predominantly coloured
alpacas who have excellent conformation and fleece character.
We focus on breeding good natured animals with even temperaments.
Branching Out
Recently we have furthered our alpaca interests by producing handmade
products and garments from their beautiful fleeces. Feel free to
